Ten Questions Patients Should Ask

• Does the surgeon have a valid license to practice medicine?
• Is the surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery?
• Does the surgeon participate in an ongoing education program?
• How long has the surgeon been performing this particular procedure?
• Does the surgeon have hospital privileges to perform the procedure?
• Will the surgeon let propsective customers speak with patients who have had the procedure done?
• How many times has the surgeon performed this operation?
• Where will the surgery ben conducted?
• Is the facility an accredited hospital or outpatient surgical center?
• What is the procedure should complications arise after the surgery?

Making Sure Your Surgeon is Qualified

Healthcare providers who are performing plastic surgery may not be qualified. Being a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) means that the surgeon is trained and certified in all types of cosemtic and reconstructive procedures. When you choose an ASPS Member, you are insuring that there has been a minimum of 3 years training in plastic surgery after at least 6 years of surgical training. The surgeon also continues medical education requirements and only operates in an accredited facility.

Welcome Bodytite!!!

This is the new generation of minimally invasive liposuction technology. Bodytite uses radio frequency to dissolve fat and remove it at the same time while uniformly heating the fibrous septi between the body as well as the skin to achieve up to 3 or 4 times the skin contraction of any laser liposuction. Radio frequency Liposuction (RFL) is normally done with oral sedation or no sedation with a local injection.

Lasers are hot, non-uniform and have poorly controlled heating. Its skin contraction qualities are controversial and it has been described by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons as being "Marketing Before Science."

The primary Bodytite FDA studies have been done and formal FDA clearance is pending. Dr. Dell Smith is one of the 20-30 Plastic Surgeon's in the US and Canada to participate in the secondary studies.

I don't want to speak for the whole office...

But I LOVE Latisse! I started using it about 3 months ago and have seen a huge difference. My eyelashes are noticeably longer and darker and I'm loving the fact that I hardly have to wear any mascara and my eyelashes still look great. Post Blue Peel

These pictures were taken on Thursday. He skin looks tight and there is still a little blue left around her nose and neck.

These pictures were just taken today, Saturday. The blue is now almost completely gone and the redness and peeling are setting in. The skin around the chin has started to crack and she describes her face as feeling like a sunburn.

We had a great turn out at our Open House yesterday and hope that everyone had an opportunity to learn about the products and get any questions answered. We had a lot of fun!
